Albrecht von Haller had many different haircuts during his lifetime. He was well recognized as a great anatomist, librarian, poet, politician, physician, writer, naturalist, botanist, university teacher, polymath and entomologist. However, the Swiss anatomist, physiologist, naturalist and poet was especially known for his beautiful sense of fashion and his delightful character.
