Alexandre de Laborde had many different hairstyles during his lifetime. He became famous as an outstanding politician, archaeologist and diplomat. However, the French antiquary, liberal politician and writer, a member of the Académie des Sciences morales et politiques (1832), under the rubric political economy was particularly known for his extradordinary sense of fashion and his likable character.
