Alfred Bengsch had a variety of different hairstyles during his career. He reached fame as a talented Catholic priest. Nevertheless, the German cleric, Roman Catholic bishop and cardinal was mainly known for his remarkable sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic death at age 58 he was frequently in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids because of his outstanding hair.
