Amir Pnueli had various haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as a world-class computer scientist, engineer, educationist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Israeli computer scientist (1941–2009) researching temporal logic, model checking, and concurrent systems was mainly known for his exceptional public appearances and his delightful personality.
