Battistello Caracciolo had a variety of different hairstyles during his career. He reached fame as a talented painter. However, the painter of the Neapolitan school of the Seicento was especially known for his unusual sense of fashion and his likable character. Before his demise at the age of 57 he was repeatedly featured in the press because of his marvelous hairstyles.
