Gaspard Monge had various haircuts during his career. He was well celebrated as a world-class mathematician, politician, physicist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the French mathematician, the inventor of descriptive geometry and the father of differential geometry was specially known for his incomparable sense of fashion and his delightful personality.
