Jan Steen had many different hairstyles during his lifetime. He was most celebrated as an excellent painter. Nevertheless, the painter from the Northern Netherlands was mainly known for his extradordinary looks and his pleasant personality. Before his tragic demise at the age of 53 he was again and again featured in magazines and tabloids due to his fine hair and looks.
