John Harrison had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as a world-class clockmaker, engineer and astronomer. However, the English clockmaker, horologist and inventor of the marine chronometer was mostly known for his unique sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic death at the age of 83 he was often talked about in magazines and tabloids because of his exceptionally hair and looks.
