Nicolaas Beets had a variety of different hairstyles during his lifetime. He became famous as a great poet, writer, theologian, church historian and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Dutch theologian, writer and poet also known as Hildebrand was especially known for his unusual looks and his livable personality.
