Otto Diels had many different haircuts during his career. He was most known as an outstanding chemist, scientist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the German chemist was especially known for his exceptional public appearances and his pleasant personality. Before his tragic demise at the age of 78 he was repeatedly talked about in magazines and tabloids due to his marvelous hairstyles.
