Pakubuwono IX had many different hairstyles during his lifetime. The ruler or Susuhunan of Surakarta was mainly known for his incomparable looks and his pleasant character. Before his tragic death at the age of 63 he was again and again in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids due to his outstanding looks.
