Papa Wemba had various hairstyles during his career. He reached fame as an outstanding singer, songwriter, film actor, musician and film score composer. Nevertheless, the Congolese musician was especially known for his unusual fashion sense and his likable character. Before his tragic demise at the age of 67 he was repeatedly in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids due to his outstanding hair and looks.
