Samuel Theodor Gericke had many different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as an outstanding painter, art theorist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Prussian court painter, rector of the Prussian Academy of Arts was specially known for his remarkable sense of fashion and his delightful personality.
